This year Key Stage 2 entertained us with their pantomime version of Cinderella. The show was great fun and full of catchy tunes. Our Year 4 children produced some memorable performances in the main character roles and all the cast and staff worked hard to to make the show a great success.
Key Stage 1 children delighted us with their joyful performance of "Are we nearly there yet?". This Nativity play had a link between the first Christmas and a modern day family travelling to Bethlehem to discover the true meaning of Christmas.
The Reception classes performed a traditional Nativity play, telling the story of the first Christmas through drama and songs.
A very creative Christmas Crafts Workshop was organised by "The Den" - our on site Before and After School Club. The children enjoyed making a variety of Christmas decorations to take home. If you would like to register your child for "The Den" just pop in and see a member of staff before or after school, or ask at the office for details.
The Christmas Story Bag entertainment was enjoyed by all the children in Nursery and Reception.
The Christmas Tree in the hall this year is decorated entirely with recycled materials. Children in KS2 were challenged to use anything they could find and they came up with some great ideas. We think our tree looks fantastic!
Our Christmas Bazaar was a great success. The Friends of Sidemoor worked really hard to get everything ready, Year 3 and 4 children sang carols to welcome everyone, there was great fun on the different stalls and Father Christmas had a very busy evening. Thank you to all the families who came to support this event.
